What can we do to help the birds?
Make a bird feeder!(Make the birds happy!)
You will need:
A small foil caseStringLard
Bird seed
How to make a bird feeder:
1: Make a hole in the foil pie case with a pair of scissors.
2: Tie a knot in some string and thread it through the hole to hang it up with.
3: Cut a thick slice of lard.
4: Pour in some bird seed and mix together for a tasty treat.
5: Now it gets messy! Squish the mixture into the foil case and
chill it in the fridge until it’s firm.
6: It's now ready to hang in your garden or outside a window.
Alternatively, cover a pine cone in lard and roll in bird seeds to make them stick.
Finally tie a string around the top to hang it by.
