Literacy Accommodations for Students With Neurological Visual Impairment
Event Description
School personnel and adult family members of students with neurological visual impairment (NVI) are invited to attend a one-day workshop geared toward supporting students’ literacy skills.
Participants will learn:
• How to recognize the visual behaviors of students across all three phases of cortical visual impairment (CVI)
• Guiding principles for accommodations and program planning
• How to determine literacy accommodations
