What is different between listening and hearing
Hearing is simply the act of perceiving sound by the ear. If you are not hearing-impaired, hearing simply happens. Listening, however, is something you consciously choose to do. Listening requires concentration so that your brain processes meaning from words and sentences

different people: Listening involve paying attention and maintaining

"A committal hearing is a preliminary hearing held in the Magistrates Court to determine whether there is sufficient evidence for an accused person to stand trial in a higher court on a serious(indictable")
