Founded in 1963 in Columbus,Ohio, we have evolved from an apparel-based specialty retailer to a segment leader focused on women's intimate and other apparel,personal care, beauty and home fragrance products. We sell our merchandise through company-owned specialty retail stores in theUnited States ("U.S."), Canada, United Kingdom ("U.K."), Ireland and Greater China (China and Hong Kong), which are primarilymall-based; through websites; and through international franchise, license, and wholesale partners (collectively, "partners").

Victoria's Secret, including PINK, the iconic women's intimate brand featuring celebrated supermodels, and a world-famous fashionshow, is a specialty retailer of women's intimate and other apparel with fashion-inspired collections and prestige fragrances. We sellour Victoria's Secret products online and at more than 1,200 Victoria's Secret and PINK company-owned stores in the U.S., Canada,U.K., Ireland, and Greater China. Additionally, Victoria's Secret and PINK have more than 430 stores in more than 70 countriesoperating under franchise, license, and wholesale arrangements.
Bath & Body Works
Bath & Body Works, which sells products under the Bath & Body Works, White Barn, C.O. Bigelow, and other brand names, is one ofthe leading specialty retailers of body care, home fragrance products, soaps, and sanitizers. We sell our Bath & Body Worksproducts online and at more than 1,600 Bath & Body Works company-owned stores in the U.S. and Canada. Additionally, Bath &Body Works has 185 stores in more than 30 countries operating under franchise, license, and wholesale arrangements.
Other Brands
La Senza is a specialty retailer of women's intimate apparel. We sell our La Senza products online and at more than 110 La Senzastores in Canada and 5 La Senza stores in the U.S. Additionally, La Senza has more than 190 stores in 22 other countries operatingunder franchise and license arrangements.
Henri Bendel sells handbags, jewelry, and other accessory products online and through our New York flagship and 26 other stores.

L Brands employs a formal, holistic company-wide risk management process that includes identification of risks associated withclimate change. The process includes review with internal stakeholders and external experts to identify physical and reputational risksand develop plans for preventing and/or minimizing impacts to the business.
Risks to the business include aspects within our control (for example, preparedness and recovery from severe weather events) andthose outside our control (such as utility expenses and supply chain disruptions related to extreme weather events). Our riskmanagement process identified the former as higher priority, and we have focused on that aspect.
Since the primary climate-related risk to our business results from business interruption (supply chain disruption or interruption ofoperations) that can result from severe weather events, we focus our efforts on mitigating the impact of such events. While climatechange presents other risks and opportunities, we focus our efforts on those aspects we can impact.

L Brands recognizes that the business may be exposed to risks driven by changes in climate-related developments, but we do not anticipateany of those risks to generate a substantive change in our business operations, revenue or expenditure. The risks we do anticipate, to a lesserdegree, are those around changes in both consumer and investor behavior. For example, it is possible that consumers will modify their shoppinghabits and product selection based on the potential relationship to climate change. Rising fuel prices and environmental concerns may causeconsumers to change their shopping habits. However, by continuing to stay close to our customer, offering multi-channel shopping experiences,and remaining agile throughout our supply chain, we believe that we will be able to adjust to these changes quickly, reducing or eliminating anypotential negative impact. Additionally, investors may choose to base more of their investment decisions on how companies choose to respondto climate change and whether the company is, in their opinion, well-positioned to handle the risks and possible opportunities that are posed byclimate change. When L Brands initially set out to develop a comprehensive business strategy as it pertains to climate change, we made it a point tocreate and leverage partnerships with outside programs and organizations that could help us determine our priorities and strategy.We began by partnering with several government-business programs such as the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA)Climate Leaders program, U.S. EPA SmartWay Transport Partnership and the U.S. EPA WasteWise Program. Further, we addeddimension to our program by joining the Retail Industry Leaders Association (RILA) Retail Sustainability Initiative (RSI) in 2010 andthe Ceres Business for Innovative Climate & Energy Policy (BICEP) in 2012. From that foundation, we have determined that ourclimate change strategy, both short- and long-term, should be aligned with managing our greenhouse gas emissions. In 2010 and inpartnership from the U.S. EPA Climate Leaders program, L Brands established a long-term corporate-wide greenhouse gas (GHG)reduction goal. L Brands pledged to reduce our absolute GHG emissions for US Direct and Indirect activities by 3 percent from 2007to 2014. In 2012 (based on Calendar Year 2011 emissions), we achieved our GHG reduction goal and as such, were recognized bythe U.S. EPA’s Center for Corporate Climate Leadership with a 2013 Excellence in Greenhouse Gas Management (GoalAchievement) Award. We were able to achieve significant GHG emissions reductions primarily through continuous efforts aroundreducing energy use in our buildings and leased stores - implementing various energy efficiency projects including lighting retrofits,lamp/light replacement projects, server virtualization projects, waste prevention and recycling as well as HVAC projects. L Brandshas been a partner in the U.S. EPA WasteWise program since 2005. We have partnered with the WasteWise program to increaseour recycling rates and reduce the amount of waste we generate through our day-to-day operations. We continue to make greatprogress in our supply chain and distribution channels. In 2006, L Brands partnered with the US EPA SmartWay TransportPartnership program. This program works with shippers, freight carriers and logistics companies to reduce GHG emissions and airpollution caused by the transport of goods. In partnership with the SmartWay program, we have been working on several projects thathave and will continue to reduce our GHG emissions including carton redesign, stacking and cube efficiency and nearly 100 percentutilization of SmartWay carriers. From a short-term perspective and in line with the ASHRAE 90.1-1999 standards for buildingconstruction and renovations, we have incorporated more energy efficient lighting, roofing and other structural features to both newand existing buildings. We will continue to plan and implement energy efficiency projects which have significant GHG emissionsreductions associated with them.Additionally, L Brands is an active member in the Retail Industry Leaders Association’s (RILA’s) Retail Sustainability Committee, anindustrywide educational forum for the largest U.S. retailers. It brings its members together to share leading practices, network,identify future trends, benchmark with peers and collaborate on common industry sustainability challenges. Further, L Brands broadened and enhanced our climate change business strategy by joining BICEP(Business for Innovative Climate & Energy Policy), a project of Ceres, in 2012. BICEP is an advocacy coalition of businessescommitted to working with policy makers to pass meaningful energy and climate legislation that will enable a rapid transition to a low-carbon, 21st century economy that will create new jobs and stimulate economic growth while stabilizing our planet’s fragile climate.Through membership and participation with BICEP, we are part of a process to identify and promote ways to mitigate climate riskwithin our company and globally.

In 2010 and in partnership with the US EPA Climate Leaders program, L Brands established an absolute greenhouse gas emissionsreduction goal for our Scope 1 and Scope 2 domestic activities. BICEP launched in 2008 and is an advocacy coalition of businesses committed to working with policy makersto pass meaningful energy and climate legislation that will enable a rapid transition to a low-carbon, 21st century economy that willcreate new jobs and stimulate economic growth while stabilizing our planet’s climate.
BICEP’s overall goal is broad, bipartisan consensus among policy makers to reduce greenhouse gas emissions 80 percent below1990 levels by 2050, with an interim goal of at least 25 percent below 1990 levels by 2020. In order for such progress to be achieved,BICEP members are committed to the following principles in the development of U.S. energy and climate policy:
1. Promote Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy2. Increase Investment in a Clean Energy Economy3. Support Climate Change Adaptation, Technology Transfer and Forest Preservation

(C12.3f) What processes do you have in place to ensure that all of your direct and indirect activities that influence policy areconsistent with your overall climate change strategy?
Any activities that have the potential to influence climate policy are discussed with the Corporate Social Responsibility SteeringCommittee (CSR Committee) to ensure they are consistent with the company’s overall climate change strategy. The CSR Committeeis comprised of executives from various company divisions and functions that meets regularly to discuss core business activities asthey relate to environmental impact, labor and other social responsibility topics. The committee operates under the guidance andoversight of the Sourcing Risk Committee which regularly reports to the Audit Committee of the Board of Directors.
