proposed Cowart’s Creek bridges to avoid existing
pipelines

• Medians and ROW were mowed and placed on a schedule during the one year maintenanceone year maintenance schedule
• New traffic signal installation should be complete and traffic signal operational by July 12th
• Block-outs will be poured once old signal poles are removed

• Majority of outstanding issues are resolved

• Permit under review by TxDOT – Mid August

• Trucking shortages delaying paving and asphalt removal
• Contractor is preparing to begin work on the storm trunk lines along the east side of the project

• Currently coordinating with BNSF
• Staff is working on agreement with BNSF to extend crossing panels to the north for the widened highway cross section
