Joshua and the Shimbly and the Snowball Fight
A blanket of snow had covered the land, and Joshua and the Shimbly agreed to a high stakes snowball fight. The frozen battle was against their biggest rivals, The Palm Spring and Missy.
Joshua and the Shimbly spent all morning building a snow barricade. Once the barricade was ready they began to form their plan of attack.
Since Missy and the Palm Spring already had a tree house they began planning their strategy long before Joshua and the Shimbly were able to.
And they took full advantage of their head start .
Ka-boing!
They tried to outrun the snowballs but the Palm Spring could launch them shockingly far! Finally they spotted a cave and ran inside for cover.
Joshua and the Shimbly realized too late that without a roof their barricade was worthless!
The situation looked very grim for the duo. Neither Joshua nor the Shimbly had ever been so worried.
Until they heard a noise behind them...
"Come out and face the music, cowards!"
A big noise!
"Please tell me that was you..."
They they were so scared that they knocked Missy and the Palm Spring onto the ground!
Joshua and the Shimbly bolted out of the cave too fast for Missy and the Palm Spring to react.
"Waaaa!"
The Shimbly shuddered "I feel kind of bad running away like that and leaving them behind..."
They ran back to their barricade, but Missy and the Palm Spring were no where to be seen. They must still be back at the cave!
"That giant brute is probably using Palm as an accordion right now... you know, I'm actually feeling better about this! We did the right thing." shook the Shimbly.
Joshua, however, felt guilty as he imagined what could be happening back at the cave. He convinced the Shimbly that they should return and help Missy and the Palm Spring.
As Joshua and the Shimbly approached the cave, however, an obscenely large snowball came flying towards them!
Joshua was too startled to run away and the Shimbly was scared scarfless! How did Missy manage to toss a snowball that big?
"Ha! We win!" bounced the Palm Spring triumphantly. "The Sherbert's got a mean arm, doesn't he? Why did you run away like that? Maybe if you hadn't hurt his feelings he would have joined your team."
"Had to come back fo them, huh?"
Joshua knew what this loss would cost him, and he was not happy about it.
"Losers!"
The end.
"How uncivilized... elbows off the table!"
