Interchange Authority Discussion OC requested ISAS to discuss and make a
recommendation on identifying the IA for the WECC.
Discussion IA standards are vague White paper developed describe the IA in the
WECC. WECC banded together to create a common authority service - WIT
Who registers as IA in the WECC? What happens if the WIT fails to distribute
arranged interchange? Who pays penalties?

Interchange Authority Discussion ISAS voted on the following motion:
“WECC provides its membership the IA functionality through the WIT and is the contract holder of the WIT. As a member driven organization, we recommend WECC register as the Interchange Authority.”

ESWG Update Outstanding issue – some dynamic e-
Tags not updated after the hour. INT-BPS-008, WR4 – energy profile
updated within 60 minutes after the completion of the operating hour. 96 hour update for ATF to settle out.
e-Tag 1.8 will help resolve this issue – BAs can perform the update as well as the LSEs.
