SCIENCE PROJECT
LEARNING OBJECTIVE: Each child will learn how bees help apple blossoms
become apples.
ITEMS NEEDED FOR THIS PROJECT:
1) One Apple Blossom Pollination color-book page set for each child
2) A copy of the apple pollination video:
- Apples Don’t Come in Milk Bottles -
(the 9 ½ minute children’s video, Apples Don’t Come in Milk Bottles can

INSTUCTIONS:
Pass out an Apple Blossom Pollination color-book page set for each child. Show
the video and discuss how the video and the color book pages tell the story of how
Bees + Blossoms = Apples. Have students color the page and write a short story
or oral presentation that summarizes their learning experience from this project.
