the diagnosis, repair and replacement of a faulty component
• Franchised Garage and Repairers– Will use third party and VM data (if available) to aid them in
the diagnosis, repair and replacement of a faulty component on other make vehicles
• Independent Component Manufacturers– The IAM component manufacturer uses third party technical
data to produce exact conforming product
