Boeing has suppliers in al l

50 U.S.states, a supply chain that employs tens of

thousands of people al l over

the country.

Two years ago the President set a goal to double exports in five years, and we’re on track to meet that goal ahead of schedule. Because manufacturing accounts for almost 60 percent of our total exports,

it’s crucial to do everything we can to support manufacturers and take steps that help more American businesses create jobs here at home and sell their products around the world.

Boeing employs 8,000 Americans in bui lding its 787 Dreamliner, the world’s most advanced commercial airplane. It represents the promise of American manufacturing, bui lding and sel l ing American-made goods around the world, developing the most innovative technologies, and creating good-paying jobs in Boeing’s

factories and up and down the supply chain al l over the United States. Boeing has orders for

870 Dreamliners, more than 80%

of which wi l l be shipped around

the world.
