WHY?

The Industrial Revolution started because people were trying to find way to increase production of food and other goods.

WHERE?

The Industrial Revolution Started in England and Europe then eventually made its way to America.

The Revolution started the use of child labor. Children would usually mine and/or gather coal for distribution.

Steam Power was invented. This had to do with coal and petroleum. It was later used in steam engines.

Revolutionized maufacturing.

The first of many breakthroughs of the revolution took place in the manufacturing of textiles and cloth.

LOCATIONS

Cotton mills were in the south and textiles were normally in the northeast region.

The Revolution lasted roughly 124 years. After the Industrial Revolution things were a lot cheaper because of mass production.

It changed the way people live to the technology they had.

Some inventions were the cotton gin, railroads, and steam engines.
