The Indianapolis Colts will battle the New Or-leans Saints on a CBS nationally televised gameon Saturday, August 23. Kickoff is slated for 8p.m. at Lucas Oil Stadium.The matchup will mark the 13th all-time betweenthe teams in the preseason, with the Colts hold-ing a 7-5 overall advantage. It will also mark thefirst time the Saints have traveled to Indianapolisfor a preseason game since 1991 when theColts played in the Hoosier Dome.Last week, the Colts fell to the New York Gi-ants by a score of 27-26. Indianapolis held a

20-0 lead at halftime after limiting New York to just 48 total netyards, five first downs and a 1-of-7 (14%) third down conversionpercentage. Safety Dewey McDonald and cornerback KameronJackson tied for the team lead with six tackles apiece.Offensively, wide receiver Hakeem Nicks tied game highs with fivereceptions for 53 yards. Quarterback Andrew Luck completed 12-of-18 passes (66.7%) for 89 yards and a touchdown for a 96.8passer rating.Following Saturday’s contest against the Saints, the Colts will closethe preseason with a road game against the Cincinnati Bengals onThursday, August 28 at 7 p.m.

Pagano became the first head coach in team history and the eighthin NFL annals to lead a team to 11 wins in each of his first two sea-sons. He has coached 32 games without losing consecutive con-tests, which is the second-longest streak for a Colts head coachand the longest streak to start a career in franchise history. In 2013, Indianapolis recorded a perfect 6-0 division record for thefirst time since 2009 and claimed its eighth division title since 2002.In 2013, Indianapolis placed 17 players on Injured Reserve, includ-ing six starters, and witnessed an NFL-high 73 different players takeat least one snap with the team. In 2012, the Colts overcame the loss of Pagano to acute promye-locytic leukemia for 12 games and responded with seven fourthquarter or overtime game-winning drives en route to an 11-5 cam-paign. Pagano previously spent four seasons with the Baltimore Ravens,the last (2011) as the team’s defensive coordinator.
