What are we going to do to improve APNIC data?

  • 2016#apricot2016

APNIC can not do this alone

  • 2016#apricot2016

Involve APNIC Members in 2016 •  We need help from the Members to provide updated information

timely •  Face-to-face meeting with APNIC Members at events such as

APNIC conferences, regional meetings, Member gathering, NOG forums…etc –  Review Members’ corporate, technical and billing contacts and whois

    records of APNIC delegation

    •  Get feedback on whois data quality improvement –  How can it be done differently in the future? –  What else can be done ?

What about the data not contributed by APNIC ?

    ?

    ?

    Data contributed by resource holders

  • 2016#apricot2016

APNIC receives quite a lot of invalid contact reports and inquiries about customer assignment records and other records such as routing information

  • 2016#apricot2016

How can we work together to improve data quality for all whois data?

  • 2016#apricot2016
