A video-mapping workshopis to be held at the ETIC Algarve(Technical School for Image andCommunication) school inPortimão, aimed at all creativelovers of 2D and 3D motiongraphics, video editors andvideo-scenographers.
Located in the old CaixaAgrícola bank building inPortimão the workshop willtake place over 1, 2, and 3 March,between 9am and 6pm.
Enthusiasts of this type ofvisual animation will have theopportunity to expand on con-tent such as the scenic layout ofobjects; the application and useof video-projectors; mappingwith MadMapper software; cre-ating special effects, and muchmore.
The workshop will culminatewith a final presentation of eachparticipant’s video mapping
project. All participants willalso be entitled to a certificate ofparticipation.
The three days’ training willbe carried out by teacher JoséBuhda, a pioneer in Portugal invideo jamming (VJ) and winnerof a number of prizes in the ar-eas of video manipulation.
José Buhda has also take partin renowned national key eventssuch as ‘Lisbon Week 2012’,where his ‘Traditional Lisbon’mapping/ screening was pro-jected onto the façade of a build-ing in that city.
