• After 5500 hr of QUV-A study SPUR+ pre-

polymer based formulation showed

comparable weatherability to a Silicone RTV

• This excellent weatherability suggests SPUR+

pre-polymer may be a excellent candidate

resin for applications in building construction,

including roof coatings

• SPUR+ Y-15990 pre-polymer based formulations can be applied in low

humidity and low temperature conditions.

• This has been demonstrated in field trials in the Northeast US in the month

of January. (~ 25-40 oF; ~ 50-80 % RH)

• We believe this is attributed to Low Tg of the SPUR+ pre-polymer and low

activation energy levels for silanol condensation (30.5 kcal/mol)
