Mission
A mission statement tells us what the purpose of the organization is.
It specifies what activities the organization pursues, what course management has charted for its future and how it will achieve them.
It includes: Who the organization is.
What it does.
Who the company/organization serves.
HR Today: Strategic PartnerMission, Vision & Values
Vision A vision statement is a vivid, guiding image of the organization’s desired
future.
It is the ultimate picture of what the leadership envisions for the organization.
The key to a strong vision statement, is for it to create the same image for all stakeholders.

Well conceived vision and mission statements: Crystallize management’s views for long-term direction.
Keep the actions of ALL employees directed toward the same goal.
Convey an organization’s purpose and identify what motivates employees to do their best.
