This class covers the personal competencies and qualities needed to project marketability for
employment. Individuals will establish a career action plan for employability, develop job
search skills, and develop and post a professional resume. Individuals will learn to create an
effective resume by profiling individual skills, aptitudes, education, training and work
experience. Students will also learn how to dress for success, write cover letters, professional
correspondence, interviewing skills and how to use the Career Connector database. All students
registering and posting a resume on Career Connector will have direct access to specific hiring
managers and receive job postings.
This class is only offered to current curriculum students. Only three sections will be offered this
spring, limited seating in each section. Each section will meet for four Fridays. Register NOW
and Reserve your spot.
