HOW TO CREATE A PERSKINALITY E-MAIL SIGNATURE/VIRTUAL BUSINESS CARD
With PerSKINality, the reach of your business can now be greater than ever. As you spread the word via e-mail, follow these easy steps to create a customized e-mail signature for Constant Contacts, Mad Mimi and Outlook. You can also create a “virtual business card” for attachment to e-mails sent through Gmail, Yahoo and Hotmail. STEP 1: Create your customized PerSKINality e-mail signature on the Communications Corner.
• Access the Communications Corner through the Pulse Business Development
Library. • Select “E-mail signatures.”
• Select your PerSKINality e-mail signature.
• Customize your selected design with your contact information and click “Next.”
• Download and save your design to your computer.
STEP 2: Add your e-mail signature to your e-mail. 2A Add your e-mail signature to Constant Contacts.
• Go to www.constantcontact.com and log in. • Click the e-mail tab and select “create a new e-mail.” • Select an existing e-mail template. • Navigate your curser into the body of your e-mail, and click inside the text area to
enter “editing mode.”
• Place your cursor where you would like to insert your signature and click “Image.”
• Click “Upload New” to add your e-mail signature to your image library.
• Select your e-mail signature from your image library and click “Insert.”
• Your e-mail signature will appear within your template. Click “Save” and your template with customized e-mail signature is ready to use.
2B Add your e-mail signature to Mad Mimi.
• Go to www.madmimi.com and log in. • Click “Compose.” • From the “Dashboard” tab, select “Browse” to upload the e-mail signature design
you just created on the Communications Corner.
• Once you’ve selected the file, click “Upload Image.”
• Your header design will appear in the image gallery; prior to dragging the image into the template, click the “Image & Text” button to access the appropriate module for image insertion.
• Once the “Image & Text” module appears, drag your e-mail signature into the “Image” module. Once your signature is in place, you can adjust its size.
• Click “Save” and your template with customized e-mail signature is ready to use.
2C Add your e-mail signature to Outlook.
• Select “Options” from the “File” menu.
• Select “Mail” and then “Signatures …”
• Select “New” and enter a name when prompted. Click “Ok.”
• Confirm if you would like your PerSKINality automatically included in new messages and/or replies/forwards by using the drop down menus.
• Select the “Insert Image” icon and upload the e-mail signature you created on the Communications Corner. Click “Ok.”
• Your e-mail signature is now ready to use. Note that due to Outlook image signature limitations, you will need to adjust sizing from within the e-mail itself. You can do this by clicking on the image and dragging to desired size.
2C Add your virtual business card (e-mail signature JPEG) to e-mails sent through Gmail, Yahoo and Hotmail. You can create a “virtual business card” for attachment to e-mails sent through Gmail, Yahoo and Hotmail. To do so, simply open a new email, click “add attachment” and select your saved design.
