3D Aircraft Detection, Identification & Guidance
• By adjusting 3-D model in all directions, the image processor matches the two templates in real time
• The video camera acquires a 2-D picture of the approaching aircraft and surrounding area
• Software processes the picture to remove any irrelevant information
• Remaining information can be seen as a 2-D projection of the real aircraft on a back of a virtual transparent screen
• The system incorporates 3-D aircraft models for each expected aircraft
• Each model includes all details for reliable identification
• The image processor creates a dynamic reference template by projecting the 3-D model on the front side of the virtual transparent screen

• Safe and Reliable Docking – Reliable operation in all weather conditions unlike other systems that only scan a narrow angle and need clear line of sight, video sensors continuously scan the complete gate area for maximum safety
• Performance – Delivers stop position and azimuth accuracy enabling aircrafts to stop on designated stop point or close
• Flexibility – Can be installed on terminal façade or pole/mast at heights 4~22M, independent of guidance line or video sensor separately, according to apron requirements, use more than two cameras to provide guidance for complex layouts
• Pre-calibrated System – Reduced installation and commissioning time (<2 hours per unit)
• Reduced Total Cost of Ownership - Fewer systems required on gates with multiple centerlines, due to wide-angle LCD display and use of video sensors for parallel or angled or curved guidance lines
• Reliability – Extremely long life – MTBF A-VDGS(45,056 hours*), Video Sensor (294,000hours)
• Minimal Maintenance – Video sensor works without any life-time limitation or mechanical aging, no moving parts or motors maximizing reliability and minimize maintenance
