Steer to Adjust Position ?

On some vehicles the adjustments can not be easily reached with the wheels in the straight ahead

On these vehicles the system allows the Technician to steer the wheel to a position where the adjustment is

more accessible

After making all adjustments, steer the left front wheel to the right aprox. 2 degrees and then back to the left until the left and right front toe numbers are equal. Check the position of the steering wheel and fine tune if necessary.

When the toe numbers are equal and the steering wheel is straight…..

The chance of having a crooked steering wheel while driving has been reduced.

No Technician gets a perfectly straight steering wheel the first time every time.
