Essential Question:
How do writers create pictures with words? How did people communicate through some of the earliest forms of writing?
Objectives:
Students will be able to recognize and discuss how authors create pictures with words throughouthistory.
Students will create their own word picture to demonstrate their understanding of the connectionbetween words, symbols, and pictures.
