byplacingonecoilontopofanother,differentshapescanbeformed.

symbols.Twomainveinsofpotteryexistedduringthisperiod,

potteryfromNileclay(red/brownafterfiring)andpotteryfrommarl

clay(usuallypolishedtogivealustrouslook)
