1. Introduction
Beginning on 01.01.2017 all referee reports have to be entered directly in the
database of URC no later than two weeks after the event. A written referee
report is not necessary anymore. All referees assigned for an event will receive a
username and a password.
2. Description
2.1. Log-in

Select Referee Report
2.2. General Info
From Drop Down menu please select: “General Info”
Select: +Add
All the events where you are appointed referee will be available for
selection
Select your event

Choose your event
Dates, City, Country, Referee, Deputy Referee will be entered
automatically
Select Competition Manager
Enter Name of Assistant Referee (SURNAME, given name) and select
Country
o Assistant referees are National referees or referees with status
“inactive”
Enter Number of tables
Enter Number of Umpires (including IUs, NUs and other local
umpires)
Ratio will be calculated automatically

Save your data
2.3. Ratings
From Drop Down menu please select: “Ratings”
Select: +Add
All the events where you are appointed referee will be available for
selection
Select your event
Please rate all aspects concerning
o Communication and organization related to match officials
o Cooperation at the tournament management level
o Referee Report about Competition Manager (CM)/Technical
Delegate (TD)
o General Comments – open text field, you can enter your
general impression and other details

2.4. Log
From Drop Down menu please select: “Log”
Select: +Add
All the events where you are appointed referee will be available for
selection
Select your event
Enter Date/Time
Describe the incident
o Also racket control failures when ITTF equipment is not used
(no official ITTF racket control) will be entered in the log
Describe the decision
Select referee
Save data
For the next incident start the procedure described above again:
“Add”….

If you want to see all logs of your event
o “Search” – open your event and press GO and you will see all
your incidents
o You can still edit or delete your incidents
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
Please describe only incidents, which are NOT part of the daily
job/routine of a referee.
E.g. Jury meeting, umpires briefing, daily briefings, checking the colour
of the shirts of players etc. are not specific incidents and should not be
entered in this database.

2.5. Racket Control
From Drop Down menu please select: “Racket Control” and according to the type
of the event “Able body” or “Normal”
Select: +Add
All the events where you are appointed referee will be available for
selection

At the end save data

FOR the next incident start the procedure described above again:
“Add”….
If you want to see all racket control failures of your event
o “Search” – open your event and press GO and you will see all
your racket control failures
o You can still Edit or delete
Only record racket control failures in this section when ITTF equipment is
used (i.e. official ITTF racket control).
Any racket control failures when ITTF equipment is not used (no official
ITTF racket control) are to be entered in the Log section.

2.6. Cards
From Drop Down menu please select: “Cards” and according to the type of the
event “Able body” or “Normal”
Select: +Add
All the events where you are appointed referee will be available for
selection
Select your event
At the end save data
FOR the next incident start the procedure described above again:
“Add”….

If you want to see all “cards” of your event
o “Search” – open your event and press GO and you will see all
your “cards”
o You can still Edit or delete

2.7. Fair Play
From Drop Down menu please select: “Fair Play” and according to the type of the
event “Able body” or “Normal”
Select: +Add
All the events, where you are appointed referee will be available for
selection
Select your event
At the end save data
FOR the next Fair Play start the procedure described above again:
“Add”….

2.8. Officials (only International Umpires)
From Drop Down menu please select: “Umpires”
Select: +Add
All the events where you are appointed referee will be available for
selection
Select your event
Enter IU number and all data will be automatically entered
At the end save data
National umpires are not registered
FOR the next Official start the procedure described above again:
“Add”….

2.9. Finalise Report
If your referee report is finalised / all data entered, you have to confirm that the
report is finalised.
From Drop Down menu please select: “Finalise Report”
Select: +Add
All the events, where you are appointed referee will be available for
selection
Select your event
Select “Report completed”
At the end save data
3. Additional information
The final referee report will be accessible for the referee, ITTF URC chairperson, ITTF URC
deputy chairperson responsible for referees and ITTF staff responsible for referee reports.
If any data is missing in the drop down fields (e.g. reason for yellow card, IU is not in the
database…), please send an email to [email protected] and the data will be added.
