1. DESCRIPTION
The GSM-VAC2 is a new kind of a mobile voice and SMS dialling system. The phonememory in the form of a SIM card is used either to store telephone numbers or to programcertain parameters. It is possible to record four different messages and send them to 10different telephone numbers. The alarm inputs can be normal open(N.O.) and are thustriggered by a positive (+12V) or a negative pulse (GND); or they can be normal close(+12V or GND lost). Each alarm input enables us to send a pre-recorded voice message,an SMS or both.The GSM-VAC2 has also four outputs giving the user the ability to control a certain systemfrom distance.
2. PURPOSE and APPLICATION
The GSM-VAC2 mobile unit can provide us with different information on the state of thealarm mounted on the protected object. It can also transmit other useful informationimportant for operating applications such as:
vending machines
various engines out of the reach of manual operation
home care or emergency alarm
car and boat alarm transmitter
temperature regulation by means of a sensor

WARNING!!! Sending this command to the GSM-VAC2 PLUS you will erase all programmed
data!
PARAMETERS CHANGING USING THE SMS
For the fist time programming we suggest to send the; PRALL; command to the GSM-VAC2
PLUS. On your mobile phone youll get back 12 SMS with all parameters. You can simply re-write
the parameters and resend the SMS back to GSM-VAC2 PLUS.
For Example:
_____________________________________________________________________________
22
8/7/2019 GSM VAC2 Installers Manual
23/30
The first SMS will be SMS with telephone numbers (TK0 TK9). If the SIM card is empty youll
get following SMS:
;TK 0=0;TK1=0;TK2=0;TK3=0;TK 4=0;TK5=0;TK6=0;TK7=0;TK 8=0;TK9=0;
Youd like to change the TK0 (0770 713 47), TK1 (0774236480) and TK2 (077125563)
;TK0=0770 713 47;TK1=077236480;TK2=077125563;TK3=0;TK 4=0;TK5=0;TK6=0;TK7=0;TK8=0;TK9=0;
If you put the + before SMS string than youll automatically get the return message with just
programming values.
Example:
SMS to GSM-VAC2+:
;+TK0=0770 713 47;TK1=0772364800;TK2=077125563;TK3=0;TK4=0;TK5=0;TK6=0;TK7=0;TK 8=0;TK9=0;
Return SMS from GSM-VAC2 PLUS if you use +:
;TK0=040 713 470;TK1=077236480;TK2=077125563;TK3=0;TK 4=0;TK5=0;TK6=0;TK7=0;TK
8=0;TK9=0;
You can use the same programming procedure for all parameters.
It is also possible to change just a few different parameters with one SMS. Consider that the SMS
should not be longer than 160 characters (included space bar).
For example, you want to change the following parameters and you want to get the confirmation
SMS back:
TK1, IP1, IP2, OP3, OP4; IF1, LK1 and RED
You will create the following SMS:
;+TK1=077071347;IP1=1;IP2=1;OP3=15;IF1=120;LK1=1;RED=4;
Send the SMS to the GSM-VAC2+ telephone number and in a few seconds you will get the replySMS. The sentence of the SMS must be the same as the original you sent to the GSM-VAC2 +.

Receive revision of software and quality of signal (PRSQ)
Command: ;PRSQ;When we send SMS with PRSQ command we receive revision of the device software and signalquality. The signal is momentary, minimal, maximum and average. Form of SMS is like this:
P4+1.6m(300806)-SQ(5)=30, SQ MIN=21, SQ MAX=30, SQ AVE=25;SQ(5) means momentary signal on VM5 (flashes of blue LED). Value 30 means the strength of
signal. This value is measured by GSM module. Value of the signal is between 1- 31, where 1means the weakest signal and 31 the strongest signal.
MGT message replay time
Is time in seconds, which tells us how long we will hear the voice message during alarm. Default
value is 20s.
RGT ring time duration
Is time in seconds, which tells us how long the ring will last when alarm is on and then skip to call
the second number or cancel the RING. Default value is 90s.
C00 conversion 00 to +
If parameter is set to C00=1 VM5 converts 00 to +. In case that we have on SIM card thefollowing number 0038642364807 and parameter C00=1, VM5 will dial this number
+38642364807. Parameter is suitable for countries where they dont support calling with starting
numbers 00. Default value is 0.
TAM tamper input
With this parameter we set the desired input to be active even if we reset the inputs. It means that
the desired input is active for 24h.
MRES module reset
Time in hours. Resetting the GSM module is recommended because it is possible that GSM module
goes in to undefined state. Default time is 168h (one week).
NEW GSM-VAC2+ FEATURES
MAIN POWER LOST AND TELEPHONE NUMBERS LINKING LK6, LK7
The GSM-VAC2+ will send an SMS message in case when the main power is lost (too low or off).
In this case the unit will send an SMS to user. The default SMS is Main Power Lost and it is
possible to change it. You can also program how long the unit must be without power. The default
level is 5 second.The new GSM-VAC2+ can control also the battery level and when the level is under 10, 5 V will
send the SMS Low Battery.

MAIN POWER LOST FILTER PARAMETR - VMTParameter VMT determines the length of the pulse which is required to create the alarm after the
main power is lost. This time can be from 1 second up to 240 seconds. The default value is 5
seconds.
For example: When the GSM-VAC2+ is without main power supply more than 5 seconds (default)
then will send the SMS message with following text: Main Power Lost.
At the moment when the main power comes back the GSM-VAC2+ will send the SMS messagewith following text: Main Power OK.
