Sarahhasbeenoneofthecoregroupofstudentswhomaketheyearbookwork.TheyparticipatetirelesslyinorganizationalandproductionactivitiesandaretheonesIgotowhenataskneedsdoingoraproblemneedssolving.Sarah’sspecialtyisphotography,butshehascontributedtomostaspectsoftheyearbook.Duringhertimehere,sheandotherstudentshavedoubledthesizeofthebook(to404pages),significantlyimproveditscontentanddesign,andconverteditfrommostlyblack-and-whitepagestofullcolor.Theyhavesharplyreducedthestaff’srelianceontheuniversity’sprofessionalphotographer,insteadusingphotosshotbySarahandotherstudents.IaskedDavisGamble,whohasbeentheyearbook’sstudenteditorfortwoyears,forhiscommentsonSarah’swork.“Sarahisoneofthemostdependablepeopleyoucouldevermeetinyourlifetime,”hesaid.“Ifyouneedsomethingdone,she’llgetitdone,nomatterhowdifficult.She’sveryprioritized.Shemakessureshegetsdonewhatsheneedstogetdone.…Ifshedoesn’tknowit,shelearnsit.”SarahisanaccomplishedphotographerwhoseskillshavebeenvaluablenotonlytothePalladiumbutalsototheUniversityRelationsdepartment.Ifeelsurethatherphotographyportfolio,aswellasherexperienceworkingwithzooanimals,contributedtoherearninganexclusiveEnvironmentalandTravelJournalismInternshipinSouthAfricathissummer.Sarah’shighqualityofwork,dependabilityandworkethicmakeheranexcellentpersontoconsiderifyouarehiring.PleasecontactmeifIcanprovidefurtherinformation.
