The Global Generation Awards Reception
Presented by the Millennium Campus Network
The Global Generation Awards Reception is an exclusivegathering to celebrate the activism of campus leaders who are
partnering with the worlds poorest communities and advancing
the United Nations Millennium Development Goals. The
inaugural Awards Reception takes place during the weekend of
the third national Millennium Campus Conference (MCC),
where over one thousand students, leading entrepreneurs and
advocates will convene to discuss and affirm campus-based and
global partnerships to end extreme poverty.
The Reception will bring together leaders in business,
philanthropy, and the non-profit sectors that are jointly
committed to having transformative global impact. The
Millennium Campus Network (MCN), a national, Boston-based
non-profit, will honor global leaders who have inspired young
Americans to make their own commitments to global
partnership and service.
Invited: Attendees will include financsupporters of MCC 2011, ReceptiSponsors, Host Committee Members, MePartners, and up to four Global GeneratiHonorees.
Confirmed: Hewlett-Packard, The Uni Nations Foundation, Better Campaign, and the Jenzabar Foundation haall signed on as financial supporters of MC2011. Confirmed members of tReceptions Host Committee incluJonathan & Margot Davis, Dr. Kevin R(President, Lynn University), BeBernstein (Event Co-Chair, Director Programming, Brandeis NationCommittee) and other leaders from acrthe city and nation . Additional MCC 20supporters, Reception Sponsors, and HCommittee members will be signing on June.
