Girl Scouting JoyGirl Scouting Joy

Narrative
So we are at the meeting
On a cold Thursday evening
Going on with our normal Girl Scout Greetings
When we hear a hiss and a clang, we all start screaming
Being the scout I am
I’m calm, cool, and collected
But not this time
I seem to be just the opposite
I ran outside to see what the fuss was about
It turns out the noise was just a cat,
that had turned over the trash can
That cat now sits in my lap!
Cinquain
Girl Scout
You learn life skills
Playing, laughing, growing
Makes me feel happy as a lark
The best!
Haiku
The trees dance at camp
Camping with Girl Scouts is great
Though sometimes it is tough.
Limerick
Crazy Cadettes all dressed up In green
People point and laugh at what they have seen
Girls running through the street
Laughing, dancing off beat
Scouts so hyper, like a jumping bean
Tanka
I love long road trips
Especially with girl scouts
Although we get bored
We always stop for candy
It is great when we get there
I love long road trips
Especially with girl scouts
Although we get bored
We always stop for candy
It is great when we get there

We’re raising money for trips and such
Buy some from me they don’t cost too much
If you don’t eat meats
That’s okay our cookies are made of treats!
