OverviewO Each assessment will consist of two 70 – 80 minute sessions
except for ELA session 3 which consist of 90 minutesO Students with daily accommodations through SWD, EL, or
Section 504 will receive the same accommodations for the assessment
O Students who have a “read to” accommodation will take each assessment online
O Student class size maximum will be 29 or smaller unless there is a test administrator and test proctor in the room
O Students may review at home by accessing online USA TestPrep and GoFAR – the students know how to log in!
O Teachers will systematically begin GA Milestones review starting March 23rd O ELA and Mathematics will have a mock test environment using
sample score sheets March 30th – April 2nd O A block schedule will run the four days with periods 1,3,5,7 on
Monday and Wednesday; periods 2,3,4,6 on Tuesday and Thursday

ELAO All students will encounter a constructed –response item
allowing for narrative prose, in response to text, within the first or second section of the test.
O Within the writing section of the test, students will read a pair of passages:O 3 selected-response items require comparing/contrasting
between the two passagesO 1 constructed-response item requires linking the two passagesO 1 writing prompt in which students must cite evidence to
support their conclusions, claims, etc. (Section 3)O Writing prompts will be informative/explanatory or
opinion/argumentative depending on the grade level. Students could encounter either genre.
