G-LOG+ is an RTU (Remote Terminal Unit) designed for
GAS Pressure Reducing Plant monitoring, installable in
ATEX dangerous classified areas in compliance with
EN60079-0 and EN60079-11.
The G-LOG+ communicates with the Company Operating
Center SCADA System via communication protocols such as
MODBUS, IEC60870, DLMS and CTR, WM-BUS, LoraWAN,
NB-IoT.

G-LOG+ is equipped with a battery pack that guarantees more than 5 years life.
When continuous Real Time communication features are required, it has to be coupled with the G-POWER
external power supply device (ATEX Certified).
G-LOG+ is equipped with a display and operates across a wide temperature range from -25°C to +60°C.
G-LOG+ is easy installable and connects to the control center via GSM/GPRS using the integrated GSM/GPRS
modem or through a radio frequency connection. The modem antenna is integrated but the installation of an
external antenna is possible via the SMA connector located on the outside of the container itself.
Using G-Power, in addition to the Real Time feature, many others functions are enabled (see G-Power
Datasheet).

G-Power is the external power supplier for the G-Log+ and
Genius EVC.
G-Power is designed in accordance with EN60079-0 and
EN60079-11 standards. It is suitable for installation in safe area
and for interfacing with equipment installed in dangerous areas.
G-Power continuously supplies the remote terminal unit allowing
power-thirsty functions such as the Real Time Communication to
operate correctly.
G-Power is available in two versions:
G-Power-PP: usable in systems powered by a photovoltaic
panel.
G-Power-INS: usable if the system is connected to the
electricity grid thanks the galvanic isolation provided between
the safe zone and the dangerous zone. G-Power generates a
digital signal to the dangerous area to report a low voltage level
of primary power.

G-Power can be supplied in two different containers: one completely closed as to ensure an IP65 protection
degree and another suitable for DIN bar that ensures an IP20 protection degree. This can be used if it is

The GPNAMUR card allows to power two NAMUR sensors installed in dangerous area, acquiring and influencing
the signal to provide an open-collector digital signal towards the danger zone.
The GPIO card allows to capture Input/Output signals, whose status is transmitted to the ATEX Unit through a
RS485 serial line.
G-Power provides a RS485 serial line to the safe zone with ModBus protocol.

Genius Slim is a MID certificated volume converter that
combines metering, data logging and communication
functions.
The EVC is designed to be remotely controlled from a
centralized data collection system (SCADA/SAC) via
communication protocols such as MODBUS, CTR (UNI TS
11291) and DLMS.
The Genius Slim is a product suited to be installed in potentially explosive areas and therefore characterized
by an ATEX certification and it is certified MID with regard to fiscal data.
The Genius Slim supplies no. 1 PTZ MID EVC certified channel having no. 1 input pulse coming from Volume
Meter, no. 1 Pressure sensor and no. 1 Temperature sensor.
The GSM/GPRS modem is integrated in the apparatus and is interchangeable with other communication

CP-Log
CP-LOG is a Low-Power Data Logger, designed for the monitoring of cathodic
protection systems in accordance with UNI 10950. The alkaline battery supplied
provides more than 3 years of operation under standard condition of use.
Communication with the Operations Centre takes place via the GSM/GPRS network
using different protocols for data transmission.
RTU FOR CATHODIC PROTECTION
From the Operations Center, the acquired measurements takes place so as to set
operating parameters as well as updating the Firmware. The configuration of the CP-
LOG takes places via the software package called RAINBOW CONFIGURATOR.
The VV version is able to acquire up to 2 measures those can be no. 2 Voltages or a couple of Voltage Current
Values.
The PS version is able to acquire up to three measures and three digital signals, one of which is configurable

CP4-Log
CP4-LOG is a Low-Power Data Logger, designed for the monitoring of cathodic

IN PRIMARY PIPELINE
MP-Monitor is an advanced RTU designed for remote monitoring and automation of reducing pressure stations on
primary pipeline dedicated to the gas transport. The device uses the most advanced technologies regarding system,
communication and interface with the field.
The main operative functions are:
- Monitoring of all station variables
- Alarms management
- Data acquisition from HART systems
- Valve control
- Synchronization with other units
Thanks to the high availability of local connections MP-Monitor can easily interface to field devices, sending
data to the operating center through the wide range of remote communications.

EP-LOG is certified for ATEX Ex-i installation according.
The device is equipped with a battery pack that guarantees more than 5 year life with daily GPRS
communications. The battery pack replacement can be easily performed by the user.
EP-LOG is a RTU (Remote Terminal Unit) designed for monitoring the
operating pressure of low pressure distribution network. The device
fulfills the requirements stated by Standard UNI/TR 11631:2016.
EP-LOG provides internal wireless expansion interfaces to support
several communication standards: GSM/GPRS, UMTS, LTE, SMS, WM-
Bus-169MHz CIG, NB-IoT, LoraWAN.
EP-LOG firmware and configuration can be updated by local InfraRed
interface and by wireless connection (modem) in order to update its
characteristics to the market requirements and the evolution of
Standards.
EP-LOG provides several mounting kits in order to install it on
underground or overground pipes.

from all installed EP-LOG and
provides to the user the following

In addition to the requirements
stated by UNI/TR 11631:2016 the
server provides a complete solution
for monitoring and alarm gas
stations. It shows the plots of
pressure and temperature for any
installation.

By using SBR (Smart Boiler Regulator) remote terminals as regulation and control systems for gas pre-heating boilers,
a significant energy saving can be achieved in the pressure reducing R&M stations.
The smart SBR unit acquires gas flow-rate, pressure and temperature either from sensors or directly from the R&M
station electronic control unit. Boiler water temperatures is acquired, and with an advanced control algorithm the pre-
heating boiler switching on and off is optimised, thus optimising gas consumption.

The Microturbine is an energy harvesting device that uses the wasted gas energy when this is throttled. The energy
is captured by the Microturbine and converted into electric energy, directly available in situ.
We have an off-grid continuous energy source, that is able to supply RTUs and instrumentation, without energy
limitations and other issues related to batteries and solar systems. The continuous and larger energy availability
allows to enable advanced functions, such as real-time communication with SCADA control centres.

FAST e AMT (Advanced Microturbines Srl) have co-operated within
the SME Instrument Phase 2 European Project entitled “Innovative
Microturbine Technology For Delocalised, Off-Grid Electricity
Generation” to develop an integrated solution for energy
autonomous telecontrol, that is self-powered by the microturbine.
It’s a major step forward in the energy recovery culture in the
world of gas distribution. The intiative has been appreciated by
the major gas utilities that would benefit from having a continuous
off-grid energy source in remote areas that allows to have an
increase in the efficiency of the gas distribution network and
increase its environmental friendliness. This project has received funding from the
European Union’s Horizon 2020 research
