TWO NEW SERMON SERIES
FACING THE FUTURE WITH
Faith Mentored by Moses, Joshua was ass igned the tremendous responsibility of leading the people of Israel into the land God had promised them. The book of Joshua is a story of battles and blessings, showing how one man’s obedience to God can make a difference in the face of overwhelming odds. Join Dr. Yount on Sunday mornings for this inspiring study and learn how to face the future with faith. (Series began Sunday morning, September 14, 2014)
EXPLORING
THE GOSPEL OF JOHN The Gospel of John was written to prove that Jesus Christ is the Son of God. As an eyewitness to the love and power Jesus displayed, John gives us an up close and intimate look at the real identity of Jesus. He reveals that Jesus was fully God, who came in the flesh to demonstrate God’s love and to provide eternal life to all who believe in Him.

FROM THE CONSTITUTION AND BYLAWS COMMITTEE
In preparing the church for incorporation as approved by the church, the Constitution and Bylaws Committee has reviewed bylaw changes necessary for incorporation as recommended by our attorney. We have also utilized this opportunity to propose updates to our bylaws as needed. Copies of the proposed changes are available for pick up on the tables in the foyer (one per family please). This will be voted on during our quarter ly conference in December with a question/discussion time to be held on December 10 at 6:30 pm in the Kid's Zone. Thank you.
Thank you, Church Family
For your tremendous demonstration
Of love and the power of God
In providing over 600 Bibles

What an awesome report to share!
Your gift will be a blessing to someone.

From the Pastor’s Heart...
Isaiah 55:11 promises…
“It will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire
and achieve the purpose for which I sent it. “
As we continue to work with, and encourage, and pray for our friends in West Virginia, pray for God’s Word to make its full effect. We will be taking over 600 Bibles to West Virginia to distribute as we share the Love of God with friends and families in Arnoldsburg. So far, about 15 people have signed up to make the trip - to distribute Bibles, serve free popcorn, cotton candy, and sno-cones, and make friends with the community. On Sunday we will lead worship at 10:00 a.m. before returning home Sunday afternoon.
Sunday, September 21 W VA BIBLE DEDICATION DAY Pick up your Bibles at the tables on the sidewalk before, during or after Sunday School, and write a short dedication, prayer, or statement in the front.
(Some are creating labels.) During the morning services,
there will be a time of dedication
and prayer.
