3PREFACETraining Program 2016/2017
Ladies and gentlemen,
The BAUER Training Center is part of the
BAUER Group and is constantly working on
the further development of existing seminars,
whereby it always takes the interests of its
customers into account.
In future we will be offering our seminar pro-
gram well into the new year in order to make
your long-term planning easier.
What’s more, we have also compiled our sem-
inars in accordance with the target groups
operator and mechanic and the product groups
rotary drilling rigs, pile drivers/leaders, duty-
cycle cranes, and exploration and well/geo-
thermal energy drilling rig to make it easier for
you to fi nd the right seminar.
In our seminars, we work with plans, diagrams,
practice material, videos and overhead pro-
jectors, practical examples and analyses; we
learn directly on the equipment, conduct practical
exercises both in groups and individually and hold
feedback sessions. To support participants’ under-
standing of the drilling processes and the handling
of drilling assistants, a driving simulation is used.
Upon request, we would be happy to put together
an individual program for you and, if required, con-
duct it in your national language using interpreters.
Our trainers can also conduct training on your
business premises, directly on your machines.
Get in contact with us and we will plan with you,
for you!
We look forward to welcoming you to Schroben-
hausen.
Your BTC team
“YOUR success through OUR competence”

6 BTC – PART OF THE BAUER GROUPTraining Program 2016/2017
BTC – Part of the BAUER Group
The BAUER Group is a leading provider of services, equipment and
products related to ground and groundwater. With over 110 subsid-
iaries, Bauer operates a worldwide network on all continents.
The operations of the Group are divided into three future-oriented
segments with high synergy potential: Construction, Equipment and
Resources. The Construction segment offers new and innovative
specialist foundation engineering services alongside the established
ones, and carries out foundation and excavation work, cut-off walls
and ground improvements worldwide. Bauer is a world market lead-
er in the Equipment segment and provides a full range of equipment
for specialist foundation engineering as well as for the exploration,
mining and extraction of natural resources. In the Resources seg-
ment, Bauer focuses on highly innovative products and services in
the areas of water, environment and mineral deposit reserves.
Bauer profi ts greatly from the collaboration between its three sep-
arate segments, enabling the Group to position itself as an inno-
vative and highly specialized provider of products and services for
demanding projects in specialist foundation engineering and related
markets. Bauer therefore offers suitable solutions for the major chal-
lenges facing the world, such as urbanization, growing infrastructure
needs, and the environment as well as water, oil and gas.
The BAUER Group was founded in 1790 and is based in Schro-
benhausen, Bavaria, Germany. In 2015, it employed some 10,700
people in around 70 countries and achieved total Group revenues
of EUR 1.66 billion. Bauer Aktiengesellschaft is listed in the Prime
Standard segment of the German stock market.
High quality and service are our standard – YOUR satisfaction is
OUR incentive.
7TARGET GROUPSTraining Program 2016/2017
Seminars for a wide variety of target groups
We offer training on all types of the BAUER Maschinen Group’s equipment for site managers,
foremen, operators, drilling assistants and technicians.
If this seminar program does not address your needs, we would be happy to compile your
own individual training program based on individual training modules.
Get in contact with us and let us know!
Training all over the world
Trainers from various departments at Schrobenhausen and BTC-qualifi ed trainers at different
training locations around the world support the BTC with its national and international training
activities. The regular and targeted ongoing education of trainers ensures that the training is
always conducted at both a professionally and didactically high level.
Imparting knowledge. Worldwide.
Our trainers convey knowledge about a wide variety of Bauer machines and devices on three
continents. We want to offer our customers all over the world the opportunity to further devel-
op their technical know-how and acquire new skill sets by consolidating their knowledge and
learning something new. To achieve this goal, we set up our Regional Training Centers (RTC).
