Mental Health
Awareness Week 2019 will take place from Monday 13 to Sunday 19
May 2019. The theme this year is Body Image
– how we think and feel about our bodies.
Body image issues can affect all of us at any
age and it can have an impact on the way
that we feel. A well balanced diet and
active lifestyle can help you to feel confident about your
body image. A healthy body is one that - whatever shape,
size or weight - is in a state of wellbeing, has enough
energy, strength and stamina to be active, and allows you
to achieve your goals. Look out for the new research about
Body Image from the Mental Health Foundation being published during Mental Health
Awareness Week.
