Lottie Moon/Global Missions - The Church Post Office is ready for you to send Christmas cards to church members. Please put your postage money in your offering envelope and mark it “postage for” - Lottie Moon or Global Missions. In addition to postage money for Missions, envelopes are available for your regular offering to Lottie Moon and CBF Global Missions. These offerings can be made through the month of December. December 2-9 is the week of prayer for International Missions and Lottie Moon Christmas Offering. Faith Challenger’s Sunday School Class Christmas Party - Monday, December 3rd at 6:30 pm in the Fellowship Hall. Upward Practice - Tuesday, December 4th and Thursday, December 6th at 6:30 pm in the Family Life Center. Games are Saturday, December 8th beginning at 9:00 am. Properties Committee Meeting - Thursday, December 6th at 7:00 pm in the Conference Room. Candy canes are needed for the candy cane hunt! These donations can also be left in the Conference Room. Faith Challenger’s Tea Party - Monday, December 10th at 11:30 am in the Fellowship Hall. Angelic Minister’s Meeting - Tuesday, December 11th at 7:00 pm at Brenda Hailey’s home. Philathea Sunday School Class Meeting - Thursday, December 13th at 10:00 am in the Conference Room. Christmas Caroling - Practice for Christmas caroling will be Wednesday, December 12th at 6:45 pm. Hal will lead us in some traditional carols. December 16th is the date set for caroling. Everyone is invited to participate! The “Backpack Buddies” program is an ongoing ministry KBC has with Knightdale Elementary School. Plastic bags, used to distribute the food, are not needed at this time, but food items are needed. Thank you for all your help with this special ministry for the children in Knightdale! White Christmas - The deacons have made the decision to promote stocking our Community Food Pantry and our Backpack Buddies programs this year as our White Christmas project. We also request that if you are aware of food needs for any church family to make a deacon aware of the need. The Food Pantry and Backpack Buddies programs are ministries to many local families in the Knightdale area. These programs are helping many where there is a need for non-perishable food items to meet the demand. Additional boxes will be placed in all three buildings to receive your donations in addition to the usual locations. If you wish to donate cash, food will be purchased for these programs. Please help

KBC Christmas Worship Opportunities

Monday, December 24th - Christmas Eve Service at 5:00 pm.
to feed the hungry in our community. Donations need to be made by Sunday, December 16th. Love Offering - A love offering will be received for our staff to express our appreciation and love. This offering will be received on the first three Sundays in December and distributed equally among Trent, Hal, Joe, Patty, Dana and Ann. The preschool board will recognize Christi and our preschool staff. If you wish to contribute, please mark your envelope as “Love Offering.” December 30th is Food Pantry Sunday, so don’t forget your food pantry donations! Supporting our local Food Pantry is an on-going mission project of the Angelic Ministers. Food collection barrels are located in the education building for you to place your food donations. A grocery list is included in today’s bulletin. Wednesday Night Fellowship Meal - December 12th from 5:30 - 6:30 pm (Arrival anytime between 5:30 and 6:30 pm) The menu is: Spiral Honey Baked Ham, Spiced Apples, Green Beans, Rolls, Homemade Desserts and Beverages (Cheese Pizza always available). The cost is: adults (10-up) $5.00, children (4-9) $2.00 and children 3 and under free. Maximum family cost is $20.00. Reservations/cancellations must be made by noon on Monday, December 10th. Call the church office to make reservations or complete the Wednesday Night section on the “Welcome Guest” slip and drop it in the offering plate. Make sure to write your name on the slip.
