Monomeria sp. aff. barbata This intricate orchid was discovered for the very first time in Malaysia in the Cameron Highlands.

Bulbophyllum aeoliumPeach-orange and crimson-red with a bunch of 7 flowers together the size of a full hand. Impressive.

Trichotosia microphyllaTiny greenish flowers on small hairy stems and leaves. Surely not impressive, but beautiful never the less.

Dendrobium kentrophyllum Striking orchid of the ‘fish-bone’ Dendrobium-sub-family. Many flowers make this orchid like a bouquet.

Coelogyne massangeanae Often called ‘necklace orchid’ because of the long rows of flowers on its inflorescence hanging down.

Acanthephippium javanicumThis rare terrestrial orchid has small tulip-like flowers. First orchid ever photographed in the REACH survey.

Coelogyne kaliana A beautiful and fragrant orchid found in the mossy for-est. The whole forest is sweet scented when it flowers!

Bulbophyllum inunctumSpectacular orchid that is now very rare indeed. Its flowers are incredibly beautiful.

Dendrobium rupicolumSmall but delicate orange flowers with snow-like crys-tals on its lip.

Paphiopedilum barbatumThe most sought-after orchid by poachers in the Cam-eron Highlands. Used to be common, now very rare.

Ceratostylis robusta Perfectly aligned like a designed piece of artwork, this orchid is truly delicate.

Epigeneium longipesCommon epiphytic orchid found on the highest moun-tain ridges in the Cameron Highlands.
