Students’Committees
The student Council at Jammu has shouldered the
responsibility of promoting student interests and
welfare, taking care of students' issues and grievances
and acts as a representative for the batch. The council
aims to lead the fraternity towards a bright future by
creating leaders out of them, who shall bear the Name
of IIM Jammu and cruise ahead Forever Strong.
Competitive Sports not only helps in fitness but also inculcate important traits of being a leader such as thriving in stressful environment, time management, strategy and other management skills. Sports committee helps in organizing occasional sports events to inculcate the above traits and overall development of students. It also encourages students to represent IIM Jammu by participating in inter-college sports events.

The social responsibility cell of IIM Jammu lays its emphasis
on the continuous amelioration of the society. Our vision is to
inculcate values of sustainable livelihood among the
students and make them aware about their duties towards the
society. As learned and responsible individuals, the Social
Responsibility Cell aims at giving back to the society.

with the Industry Interaction Cell, the placecom works
towards organizing industrial visits, interactions and guest

basis with extreme weather shifts. From construction of
new courts to regular maintenance of the campus, we

Management studies are nothing but assimilation of skills.
Though our curriculum is comprehensive but to survive in
this rapidly updating business world, we need to imbibe
many other crucial skills. So the role of Skill development
committee is to provide stimulating environment and
arrange the best possible resources at our behest to
achieve this goal.
The Academic Committee is the student community's
voice in all the matters pertaining to academics. It acts a
mediator between the students and the faculty. The
committee provides valuable recommendations
regarding daily academic activities and healthy
scheduling of the curriculum to the PGPM council. It
keeps the students aware of the upcoming academic
activities and rules and policies of the Institute. It also
oversees the library facilities and fosters a healthy
academic environment.
