The Henry Ford Movement Disorders Center is proud to present its first

symposium on dystonia. Dystonia is a movement disorder that affects

several hundred thousand adults and children in the U.S. alone. It is

characterized by persistent or intermittent muscle contractions causing

abnormal, often repetitive, movements, postures, or both. The movements

are usually patterned and twisting, and may include a tremor.
