I am sure you will have realised how greatly I enjoyed

my all too brief visit to Luxembourg. Your hospitality was

perfect and our talks were, as I hope you will agree, extremely

useful. I am confident we have laid a firm basis for fruitful

co-operation between our two Governments on matters of mutual

interest in future.

Thank you so much for the several gifts you were kind

enough to give me. The pair of dishes are delightful and will.

be a permanent reminder of a most happy occasion.
