This series of four jazz concerts showcases the best of local jazz in the Center’s unique studio theater. Different groups will bring their smooth and mellow jazz sounds for a terrific evening of entertainment.

September 19 : Eric DeFadeGrammy Award winning jazz saxophonist Eric DeFade kicks off the new Jazz in the Box series at Lincoln Park Performing Arts Center.

The Eric DeFade Jazz Trio performs their amazing jazz repertoire in the Center’s intimate studio theater.

October 10 : Kenny Powell with Etta Cox | Red VelvetKenny Powell brings his smooth saxophone sounds to the intimate studio theater. Splitting the

bill is Red Velvet with their sophisticated take on jazz.

January 23 : Elizabeth “Betty” Asche Douglas | Dale FielderElizabeth “Betty” Asche Douglas performs your favorite jazz standards. Former Midland resident Dale Fielder performs as a

jazz musician in Los Angeles, and now returns to perform in the Center’s intimate studio theater.

March 20 : Joe NegriPittsburgh’s guitar man, Joe Negri, returns to the Center to close out the Jazz in the Box series. Don’t miss this legendary jazz guitarist.
