• It is city’s 1st major Amusement park established in the year 1986 by Subhash Chandra of Essel group.
• It is situated at an Island near Gorai spread over 64 acres which also makes it largest entertainment park in Mumbai.
• It is the only Amusement park in city close to International Standards.
• Approximately 1.8 million people visit every year.
Problems
• Entertainment Parks in city are very few comparing to the large size of population.
• They lack International Standards & Rank poorly in Global statistics.
• Cheaper alternatives like Beaches, Movie Theatres etc.
• Lacks in newer attractions.
Conclusion
• According to a survey conducted in city 15% people said visiting an Entertainment Park made them happy.
• City has very fewer parks so there is a need of more Amusement parks of International standards & newer attractions.
• It suits budget of majority middle class in Mumbai for a day trip.
• It is a great stress buster from daily monotonous life.
