What is it?
• Enterprise Ireland has invested in approx 345 number of companies through the CSF since 2011.

• This fund is open to start-ups with technology at the heart of the innovation engaged in manufacturing or internationally traded services.
Purpose of CSF
• Evaluate overseas market opportunities and reach firm conclusions regarding the viability of the proposed business.
• Build a prototype.• Secure a reference site.• Develop a market entry plan for exploiting international opportunities.• Secure partnership deal or strategic alliance.• Identify suitable channels to international markets.
• Secure third party investment e.g. business angel, Venture Capital.

Women-led private technology companies are more capital-efficient, achieving 35% higher return on investment, and, when venture-backed, bringing in 12% higher revenue than male-owned tech companies, according to Women in Technology: Evolving, Ready to Save the World, research conducted by the Kauffman Foundation.
