The shower
The shower is a wildlife safari
The nozzle is like a giraffe reaching out for food
The knobs are like hippos, showing their great white teeth
The tub is like a huge piece of land where all the animals and others live,
And the drain, is where my imagination whooshes out of sight.
Extended Metaphor
The Pill
There first time I made a huge fit I tried to quit
But my dad made me take that pill That tastes like dillAnd I screamed
Although in my head I dreamed that I beamed
And finally that pill is fineAnd now I can dineWithout worryingAnd scurrying
Away from that pill
I went to the doctorBecause I left my health in my locker
She checked me everywhereShe checked me here and there
She checked my throatAnd said I am going to start to croak
So she prescribed medicineHopefully it is genuine
Because I hate to take that pillIt gives a chill
There are three days left Now I am very deft
So I have been taking my Pill That gives me a chill
And it tastes really badSo bad it's sad
It tastes like a mintWith a hint of flint
Couplet
Coke
When I drink coke it sparkles in the bottle
In the car I will step hard on the throttle
The dark brown color
Makes me holler
Hopefully I will not squabble on the cobble
