The main objective of our Energy policy of Chhattisgarh
is to fasten the speed of development of State and
make it as one of the developed states.

Regarding the energy policy in Chhattisgarh in the sector of solar
energy, Government of Chhattisgarh has issued a policy for harnessing renewable energy
in Chhattisgarh in 2002.
Based on the progressive views adopted in the last few years and the various changes in the laws
and regulations, it has developed in the stage of preparedness for
the installation of large scale solar projects in the next 5 to 10 years.
Regarding the energy policy in Chhattisgarh, the Chhattisgarh state transmission utility has developed
strong transmission system comprising of 400kv, 220kv and
132kv.
Chhattisgarh State Electricity Regulatory Commission (CSERC) has been established to provide the
people of Chhattisgarh easy access to power.

in the sector of renewable energy.
Chhattisgarh has been doing commendable work in the sector
of renewable energy sector.
It is utilising rice husk in the generation of 45 MW and 200
MW solar power grid.
Regarding the energy policy in Chhattisgarh, solar power is being used in 600 primary health centre, 100 community health centre, 350 police stations, 1800 tribal hostels, 27 collectorates and 1,700 villages
of the state.
Various villages are using 3000 solar power pumps for drinking
water and 1500 for irrigation purpose.
