postal systems. I am a specialist with a degree in information technology
and a diploma in business information technology.
I am a dedicated, committed and self-motivated person with excellent
interpersonal, problem-solving, analytical skills, I have proficiency in Labor
Management Software, as well as a proven ability to maintain high levels of

Responsible for effective provisioning, installation/configuration, operation,
and maintenance of systems hardware and software and related
infrastructure to help in the day to day business operations.
Participate in technical research and development to enable continuing
innovation within the infrastructure. Ensure that system hardware, operating
systems, software systems, databases and related procedures adhere to
organizational values, enabling staff, Partners and service providers.
Other Responsibilities
Develop and maintain installation and configuration procedures.
Install new / rebuild existing servers and configure hardware, peripherals,
services, settings, directories, storage, etc. in accordance with standards and
project/operational requirements.
Website and social media management.
Operations and Support
Perform daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and
availability of all hardware, server resources, systems and key

processes, reviewing system and application logs, and verifying
completion of scheduled jobs such as backups.
Perform regular security monitoring to identify any possible
intrusions.
Perform daily backup operations, ensuring all required file systems
and system data are successfully backed up to the appropriate media,
recovery tapes or disks are created, and media is recycled and sent
off site as necessary
Perform regular file archival and purge as necessary.
Create, change, and delete user accounts per request.
Investigate and troubleshoot issues.
Repair and recover from hardware or software failures. Coordinate
and communicate with impacted departments.
Identify user needs.
Maintenance
Apply OS patches and upgrades on a regular basis, and upgrade
administrative tools and utilities. Configure / add new services as
necessary.
Upgrade and configure system software.
Maintain operational, configuration, or other procedures.
Perform periodic performance reporting to support capacity planning.
Perform ongoing performance tuning, hardware upgrades, and
resource optimization as required. Configure CPU, memory, and disk
partitions as required.
Maintain data center environmental and monitoring equipment.
Software supervision/management
Installation and configuration of computer software applications
Performing upgrades, carrying out routine procedures and monitoring
user licenses.
Troubleshooting, diagnosing and solving hardware/software
faults/malfunctions.
User support functions
To setup new users’ account profiles and management of passwords.
To receive calls from users regarding ICT problems/necessary
support, document the complaints and take remedial action as per
standing procedures.

Ensure that the Help Desk systems and software are kept up to date
and messages are passed on and feedback received promptly by the

Rollout new software, train staff and give routine technical
backstopping as may be requested.
