What is the difference betweenElectrical Technology and Electrical Engineering?
Electrical TechnologyFocuses on the understanding and application of electrical and electronic principles and thetechnological processes inherent in the production of products, services and systems in order toimprove the quality of life.
Deals with all machines, tools, devices, and systems in which a current or a flow of electrons takesplace through conductors and metals. It involves the design and development of high-voltage systemsand components such as motors, generators, heaters, electrical power transmission and distributionsystems, radio wave and optical systems, converters, and control systems for operating light andheavy machinery.
Not only involves the design and production of all the electrical systems mentioned, but also theinstallation, testing and maintenance of these systems.
Electrical engineering The branch of engineering that deals with the technology of electricity, especially the design and
application of circuitry and equipment for power generation and distribution, machine control, andcommunications.
The branch of engineering science that studies the uses of electricity and the equipment for powergeneration and distribution and the control of machines and communication.
A field of engineering that generally deals with the study and application of electricity, electronicsand electromagnetism.
