Eleanor Ho is an experienced recruiter and career coach. Inspired by the initial idea of giving back, she has created a sophisticated, informative online platform for providing career advice, particularly to college and university graduates. Originally from Hong Kong, Eleanor has spent most of her adult life in Sydney. She ran her own business there, which in turn got her into recruitment. There, she gained tremendous valuable human resources insight from top executives across the globe. At the end of 2010, and at the peak of her career, Eleanor left the executive search industry. She decided to leverage her recruiting experience, diverse market knowledge, and network she had built in Europe, Australia and Asia to build a meaningful business: EleanorHo.com. Her platform shares practical job search tips and valuable career advice to ambitious young individuals who want to build careers that fulfill them intellectually, financially and emotionally, while making a difference in their chosen field. Through her coaching program, Eleanor also encourages time-‐rich individuals to work, engage themselves in the community, or develop further social values within themselves. Eleanor graduated from Macquarie University in Sydney, where she earned a Bachelor of Commerce in Sales & Marketing. She is fluent in Cantonese, English and Mandarin. She travels frequently and extensively within Asia Pacific, working regularly from both Sydney and Hong Kong offices; she also spends a lot of time in the Philippines with her partner.
