Why Are We Different??
A. Our Integrated Center has almost all the facilities theDiabetic needs, available in one place in EIDC.
B. Diabetes Educators – a real added value to the servicewe are delivering to our patients that is nearly rare allover Egypt.
C. Awareness, Prevention, patient education and healthcare professional education is a priority for EIDC andwe have the will, the knowhow and the facilitiesneeded to accomplish those medical services.
D. Clinicruise is EIDC Electronic Medical Record (EMR)system :-1. An electronic medical record (EMR) is a digital
version of a paper chart that contains all of apatient’s medical history, examination, investigations, diagnosis and treatment.
2. Our EMR is more beneficial than paper recordsbecause it allows us to:• Track data over time.• Identify patients who are due for preventive visits
and screenings.• Monitor how patients measure up to certain
parameters, such as vaccinations and bloodpressure readings.
• Improve overall quality of care in practice.

G. Advanced Investigations needed for Diabetes Careare available in the center :
1. HbA1c measurement by a device certified byNational Glycohemoglobin StandardizationProgram (NGSP) in the USA which is thereference approved by IDF.
2. Digital Retinal Photography Camera; will beavailable next July to help in practical andcost effective recommended follow up fordetection of early signs of retinopathy toguard against deterioration.
