Purpose:
Our device was designed to help a student turn his/her stereo on when he or she firsts get back from a long day of classes on the hill. The student has no remote control and it is too far away to reach while sitting in their chair. So this device turns the stereo on with just a pull of a string.

Step 1: Pull a string to get
device started. Releases a marble.

Step 2: Marble rolls down a
chute. Marble sets off the
trap. Trap releases and
pulls a string to release the holding peg.
April 19, 2023
Step 3: Holding peg is
pulled out. Rubber band is
released.

Step 4: Rubber Band
shoots the rod. Rod is pushed with
enough force to turn on the stereo.

Step 5: Stereo is turned
on. Student can now
enjoy listening to his favorite radio station.
