1 PurposeThis configuration guide provides the information you need to set up the configuration of thisbuilding block manually.
If you do not want to configure manually and prefer an automated installation process usingeCATTs and BC Sets, use the SAP Best Practices Installation Assistant.
2 Preparation

3 Configuration
3.1 Defining Table
Use
The purpose of this activity is to define the table especially used by the record managementprofiles.
Procedure
1. Access the activity using one of the following navigation options:
SAP Menu Tools→ ABAP Workbench→ Development → ABAP
Dictionary

2. On the ABAP Dictionary: Initial Screen, make the following entries:

12. Choose Enter to confirm your entries, and confirm the dialog box.
13. Select Key fields/candidates, and enter 1:1 in the Cardinality row.
14. Choose Copy to confirm your entries.
15. Choose Technical Settings on the Dictionary: Maintain Table screen.
16. Confirm the dialog box to save the table first. (You might need this table as a local object in
your client.)17. On the Dictionary: Maintain Technical Settings screen, make the following entries:

3.2 Defining Search Profile
Use
The purpose of this activity is to define the search profile for the record management model.
Procedure
1. Access the activity using one of the following navigation options:IMG Menu SAP NetWeaver → SAP Web Application Server → Basis
Services→ Case Management Create Case Search

2. On the Change View “Profile of Case Search”: Overview screen, choose New Entries.
3. On the New Entries: Overview of Added Entries screen, make the following Entries.

2. On the Registry: Developer Mode screen, select Application Registry S_AREA_CMG RMS_ID.

3.4 Creating Business Object
Use
The purpose of this activity is to define the business object.
Procedure
1. Access the activity using one of the following navigation options:
SAP Menu Tools→ ABAP Workbench→ Development → Business Object
Builder
Transaction Code SWO1
2. On the Business Object Builder: Initial Screen, enter BUS2001 in the Object/interface type field.
3. Choose Copy .
4. On the Copy Object Type screen, make the following entries:Field name Description User action and values Note

5. Choose Copy to create the object type. (You might need this object as a local object in your system.)

3.5 Changing Business Object
Use
The purpose of this activity is to change the business object, to assign the new transactions to it.
Procedure
1. Access the activity using one of the following navigation options:
SAP Menu Tools→ ABAP Workbench→ Development → Business

2. On the Business Object Builder: Initial Screen, enter ZBUS2001 in the Object/interface type field.
3. Choose Change.

8. Put your cursor on the object ZProjectDefinition.Edit and choose Program.
9. On the Object Type: Editor Edit Program ZRUS2001, on line 81, change transaction CJ07 toCJ20N , on line 87, change transaction CJ08 to CJ20N .
10. Choose Back .
11. On the Change Object Type ZBUS2001 screen, choose Methods ZProjectDefinition.Create (double click).
12. In the Method Create dialog box, choose the ABAP tab page.
13. Change the value in Name field to CJ20N .
14. Choose Enter to confirm your entries.
15. Put your cursor on the object ZProjectDefinition.Create, and choose Program.
16. On the Object Type: Editor Edit Program ZRUS2001 screen, on line 75, change transactionCJ06 to CJ20N .
17. Choose Back .
18. On the Change Object Type ZBUS2001 screen, choose Methods ZProjectDefinition.Display (double click).
19. In the Method Display dialog box, choose the ABAP tab page.
20. Change the value in Name field to CJ20N .
21. Choose Enter to confirm your entries.
22. Save your entries.
Result
The new business object has been changed.
3.6 Generating Business Object
Use
The purpose of this activity is to generate the business object.
Procedure
1. Access the activity using one of the following navigation options:

2. On the Business Object Builder: Initial Screen, enter ZBUS2001 in the Object/interface type field, and choose Change.
3. On the Change Object Type ZBUS2001 screen, choose Edit → Change Release Status→
Object Type→ To Implemented.
4. Open the Methods folder and select ZProjectDefinition.Edit.From the menu, choose Edit →
Change Release Status→ Object Type Component → To Implemented. Repeat this step for Method ZProjectDefinition.Create, and ZProjectDefinition.Display.
5. Open the Events folder and select event ProjectDefinitionT.Created.From the menu, choose
Edit → Change Release Status→ Object Type Component → To Implemented.
6. Choose Check and Generate the whole object.
7. Back to SAP Easy Access screen.
Result
The new business object has been generated.
3.7 Defining Element Types (Business Objects)
Use
The purpose of this activity is to create the element types, which belong to service provider “business object”.
Procedure
1. Access the activity using one of the following navigation options:
IMG Menu SAP NetWeaver → SAP Web Application Server → BasisServices→ Case Management Set Registry
Transaction Code SRMREGEDIT
2. On the Registry: Developer Mode screen, choose Application Registry S_AREA_CMG SCMG_SP_BOR .
3. Right click the SCMG_SP_BOR , and choose Create Element Type.
4. In the Create Element Type dialog box, make the following entries:

3.8 Defining Element Types (Other Types)
Use
The purpose of this activity is to create element types that belong to different service providers.
Procedure
1. Access the activity using one of the following navigation options:
IMG Menu SAP NetWeaver → SAP Web Application Server → Basis
Services→ Case Management Set Registry
Transaction Code SRMREGEDIT
2. On the Registry: Developer Mode screen, choose Application Registry S_AREA_CMG,and then choose service provider SCMG_SP_CASE_LOCATOR .
3. Right click the service provider SCMG_SP_CASE_LOCATOR , and choose Create Element Type.
4. In the Create Element Type dialog box, make the following entries:

3. On the Case Management screen, in the left side, choose Industrial Machinery Files

5. A white page is then displayed in the right side of the screen.
6. Choose Application From File.
7. In the dialog box, choose the document “Z_E83_HELP_DOCUMENT” , and choose Continue.
