Receive job offers from the Hailo passenger app and process payments instantly
Hailo Jobs
Important: You must be
have your ‘Send me
Hailo Jobs’ toggle (on
Jobs screen) set to
‘YES’ in order to receive
Hailo Jobs.
When you are offered a Hailo
Job you will be presented
with a pop-up screen and
audio tone.
You will then have a short
period of time to accept and
commit to the job
Listen for the bell. You have a
short period of time to accept
the Hailo Job
When you get to the pickup
location, press the ‘Arrived’
button.
If the passenger is not visible
at the pickup location, tap the
‘Call’ button to contact them directly.
Important: Hailo promises
passengers 5 minutes free waiting time.
Important: When the
passenger is on-board, tap ‘Go POB’.
If the passenger has set a destination, this will come
through automatically when you tap ‘Arrived’.
As soon as you arrive at your
destination, tap ‘Take
Payment
For customers using the Card
Account option, type in the
meter fare. Any auto-tip they
have set will be added
instantly.
As soon as you press the
‘Charge Card Account’
button, the payment will be
processed.
Passengers then receive a receipt via email.
For non-Card Account
customers, enter the meter
amount and tap ‘Cash’ or
‘Card’.
Note: It is critical to include
any tip provided to ensure
your customer receives an
accurate email receipt for
their expenses.
For all payment options (Card
Account, Card or Cash) the
customer will automatically
be e-mailed a receipt.
Rate your passenger on the
Job Complete screen and
you're done!
Note: Report difficult
customers by giving them a
one star rating.
