Dessert wines are made in practically every wine-making country. Within each country there are often several styles, some fortifi ed, some not fortifi ed, some sparkling and some still. The following is a list of delicious dessert wines that will pair well with your favourite dessert or
just act as a dessert itself.
Sweet red wines come as fortifi ed wines. Port style wines are made with grapes that are fully ripened, but the fermentation process is stopped early and brandy is added to the wine increasing its sugar content. The sweetness of these wines also depends of how long they are
